MOVING!!!

At the end of this month, Jon and I will be moving into our first HOUSE!!! We are still renting, but we won't be in a townhome where you can hear everything your neighbors are saying and doing! We're super excited! And while the actual "moving" portion is miserable, we know it'll be worth it! Bare with us, this month is going to be crazy!!!

On top of moving at the end of the month, we are making a super short trip to Portales, NM for my cousin Denae's wedding! The day after we get back I have the dreaded dental surgery, then we get our new house keys the 26th to start the move because my padre and brother will be coming into town on the 30th!!!! All while we continue working our full-time hours! HaHa...While we are looking forward to everything (but the dentist) this month, it's going to keep us super busy!!! So bare with us! We love all of you!

The Tooth

Here's my story for the day...FYI, kinda gross...
During the summer of 07' I had to have a root canal done while we were visiting in Albuquerque...Since then, i've had a crown put on it, like you should...(which by the way costs lots of money..) Anyway. Had the crown put on and for a couple months i've had this sore around it...welp, went to the dentist today about the sore, turns out, there's an infection up in my gums and the sore is the infection protruding out...gross, i know. so to fix it...they can either 1.Take the tooth out, which i'd rather not do. or 2.Have them cut up into my gums, drain the infection and then replace the space with superficial bone. yeah it sucks, and again very expensive. SO! as I would rather not be toothless, i've opted for option #2. Wish me luck!!! and Grandpa Mac....watch your root canals!!! It seems our teeth have sympathy pains for each other or something! haha...so if you start getting a sore, you have me to thank ;)

He's full Boxer and just oh so cute!!!! He's still a bit young to bring home, so we don't have him with us yet, but we will soon!! We're so excited!!!!

Catch Up

Again, I've been slacking on the blog, please forgive me...

This past week Jon and I took off to Orlando!!! Really it was because Jon had to go TDY for some seminar, so I tagged along! It rained the WHOLE time we were there, but it was still very relaxing. The first few days Jon was in class, but on Friday we started with the Disney Parks! Again, it was raining like no other, so we really weren't able to do too many rides and such, but it was still a neat and fun experience. Yesterday we headed home so we could catch up on laundry and stuff before heading back to work! Here's a few pics of our trip!!!

Herman

Yesterday was such a beautiful day that Jon and I decided that we've earned ourselves a beach day!!!! It was so relaxing! As we were laying out, drying off, Jon noticed sand moving in front of us....as we got closer, it was a little crab digging out his hole!!!! haha...We decided to name him Herman. We're crazy, I know...

New

Jon and I were able to add to our home this weekend when our NEW MATTRESS was delivered!!! Sears was having an amazing sale, and a new mattress is something that Jon and I have been wanting to purchase! We absolutely love our new bed! As for what's next on our list of big purchases...you'll have to wait and see!!! I'll post pics of our new bed later :)
